23 Santa Comes to Town

Today Aunt Jenny and Aunt Margi came over to see their nephew and to make Million Dollar Fudge (mom's recipe) for the holidays. And what do you know? Santa came to town!

Aunt Jenny and the little reindeer.

Last night, Grandpa Fiore came to visit the boy and brought a feast for mom and dad. (It is not clear from the photo, but Liam is wearing a onsie with a photo of Gary Coleman saying "What cho talkin' 'bout Willis?")

Uncle David stopped by last week to drop off the photos he took of us.

Below, play time with Daddy. Liam is wearing a blue and white stripped outfit that Morgan Fukunaga sent from NYC. Thanks, Morgan!!

22 Lighting of the Christmas Tree in Old Town Alexandria

We ventured out in freezing cold weather to enjoy some holiday spirit and the lighting of the Christmas tree at Market Square in Old Town Alexandria with friends Kellie and Shawn Redfern.
Due to the cold weather, we didn't stay out too long. But we truly enjoyed ourselves and fired up the chimenea when we got home.

21 Thanksgiving and Ben's Birthday

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving at Aunt Margi and Aunt April's house in Baltimore. Because it was a pot luck, Aunt Margi had time to feed Liam a bottle.

April and Margi's friend comforted Liam while mommy and daddy ate some dinner.

For dessert, we celebrated Ben's birthday by indulging in Aunt Margi's famous pumpkin cheese cake, Ben's pumpkin roll, pumpkin bread, and apple pie. After dessert we had a ball playing Cranium.

19 Our Puppy Duke's First Snow Too!

On July 1st, our pure bred, field bred, English Springer Spaniel, Daisy, gave birth to 5 male pups. We kept one, the trouble maker, Duke. So it was Duke's first snow also!
